A decade ago, Rachelle embarked on a mission to create a space that transcended traditional notions of self-care, yoga and well-being. Chi Junky, nestled in the heart of Leslieville, became a sanctuary where individuals could come to reconnect with their inner selves and be part of a like minded community. Rachelle's vision was clear – to create a home away from home where anyone could come and feel supported on their physical, mental, and spiritual journey.

The Chi Junky studio circa 2014, started off as a 150sq ft. room that fit four yoga mats. Click to watch the promo video for the original studio 10 years ago.

Chi Junky's 10th anniversary is not just a celebration of a business milestone, but a testament to Rachelle's dedication to create a positive impact in the community. While this journey has been anything but an easy one, Rachelle has proven time and time again that passion, resilience, and a deep commitment to one's vision can break barriers. Her powerful female leadership has not only shaped Chi Junky to become a thriving wellness community but has also been a space that has uplifted countless women to pursue their dreams. From the front desk staff, to the Chi Crew, to the incredible instructors - Rachelle collaborates with so many other women to help their voices be heard and create a space for their talents to shine.

The diverse range of classes and programs offered at Chi Junky reflects Rachelle's understanding of the unique needs of the community she serves. Her commitment to fostering a space that promotes inclusivity and self-love has cultivated a supportive environment for individuals to explore and embrace their inner strength. This impact reaches far beyond the walls of Chi Junky - as Rachelle has created a ripple effect of positive change in the lives of those she has touched.

We are grateful to Rachelle and the journey she has paved for women in the entrepreneurial landscape. Her story is a reminder that women can be trailblazers and drive change in an ever growing industry. Rachelle leads with passion, resilience, innovation and a genuine desire to positively touch the lives of those around her. Happy International Women's Day to all the trailblazers, visionaries, and changemakers who inspire us to reach new heights.
